Policy

The SHS Trust core values of mainstreaming and inclusion are reflected in all of our policy output. Our priority is to influence the policies which impact most directly on Scotland’s most vulnerable groups. We aim to ensure that our core values directly influence social policies in the short-term and have an impact on the evidence base and context of policy making in the medium and long-term.

Our policy analysis interacts with the other work SHS does. It aims to add weight to the organisation both by reflecting the experiences of socially excluded people attending our projects and events, and by applying to policy the findings of our research team.
